    Dust Particle Test Method for Laminar Flow Hood


    Laminar flow hood is one of the equipment that can shield and isolate the operator from the product. Its main purpose is to avoid product contamination. The air drawn from the clean room is then passed vertically through the operating area through HEPA filtration using a fan installed in the top pressurized cabin to provide ISO 5 (level 100) unidirectional air flow to key areas. The exhaust gas is discharged from the bottom and returned to the clean room area. It is mainly composed of a box, a fan, a high-efficiency air filter, a damping layer, lamps, etc.
 

The clean laminar flow hood forms a uniform flow layer after the air passes through the high-efficiency filter at a certain wind speed, so that the clean air flows vertically in one direction, thereby ensuring that the high cleanliness required by the process is achieved in the working area. Cleanliness grade standard:dust with a particle size of ≥0.5μm in the working area ≤3.5 particles/liter (FS209E100 grade). Shenzhen Esky Purify will briefly describe the dust particle test method and conditions of the laminar flow hood below:

Dust particle test method of laminar flow hood:

1. Turn off the purification air conditioner to make the indoor ≥0.5μm particle concentration greater than 350 00 particles/L, and the ≥0.5μm particle concentration at the air intake port shall not be less than 350 00 particles/L.

2. When the particle concentration at the air intake port reaches a stable condition, test it continuously for 5 times at the center of the parallel section 250 mm away from the main filter or rectifier grille outlet, and calculate the average value.

3. When 5 mu m particles appear during the test, multiple sampling should be performed. Only when they appear multiple times can the test value be considered reliable.

4. Acceptable standard:The concentration of 0.5 mu m particles is less than 3.5 particles/L, and 5 mu m particles are not allowed.

5. Enter the test results into the record sheet.

Test conditions for dust particles in laminar flow hood:

1. The particle concentration of 0.5 μm at the air inlet of the laminar flow hood shall not be less than 35,000 particles/L.

2. The particle concentration test at the air inlet of the laminar flow hood needs to be carried out within the time of testing the particle concentration in the operating area of the clean workbench, and needs to be measured 5 times.

3. Testing instrument:American TSI9306-04 dust particle counter.
