
The detection of microorganisms in compressed The SAS Super Pinocchio II has been designed to minimize the sampling process for microbial detection in compressed gases, a very specific application. The instrument requires no external power supply, and sampling is accomplished by gas pressure alone. The SAS Super Pinocchio II is ideal for compressed gas testing as it complies with USP Section 1116 for microbiological testing of gases.
Introduction of new gases into the system
Connect the compressed gas source to the SAS Super Pinocchio Super II system and the flow meter directly adjusts the desired flow rate, e.g. 100l/min. Time the sampling cycle to obtain the desired total sampling volume, e.g. 1000l.
The SAS Super Pinocchio II is used to monitor the microbiological content of compressed air and other compressed gases used in the pharmaceutical and food industries and other critical areas.
Compressed gas can be connected directly to the equipment line.
