The Ultrafine Condensation Particle Counter 3776 (UCPC) is an alcohol-based condensation particle Counter (CPC) designed for researchers interested in airborne particles smaller than 20 nm. It is a continuous flow instrument that detects particles down to 2.5 nm. It utilizes a special sheath airflow design that improves response to changes in particle concentration and increases counting efficiency for ultrafine particles.
The Model 3776 is the successor to the Model 3025A, which offers higher aerosol flow rates and better flow control. It features continuous real-time calibrated extended single particle counting at concentrations up to 300,000 particles/cm3. It has a butanol-friendly, spill-proof design with water removal. It has a color display, built-in data logging and storage via removable memory card, and USB and Ethernet connectors. It is factory built with SMPS?, which is equipped with our Aerosol Instrument Manager software.
Lower particle detection limit of 2.5nm
Responds quickly to rapid changes in aerosol concentration ( T95<0.8 sec)
Higher aerosol flow rate of 50 cm3/min for improved counting statistics
Continuous real-time counting of up to 300,000 particles/cm3. Calibrated extended single-particle counting for highest accuracy
Butanol-friendly features, including an anti-spill design, water removal system, butanol odor absorber and improved resistance to optical immersion when the instrument is tilted or input flow limited Provides USB and Ethernet ports Built-in SMPS compatibility (now standard!). !) Automatic recovery from power failure Detachable saturator core for easy transportation and maintenance
Particle Concentration, Concentration Time Comparison, Total Count, or Instrument Status is displayed on the front panel color LCD display
