Duke-Tech's In-Line Model EDK7200Ultraviolet Absorption Spectroscopy (UVAS) NOx Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Gas Analyzer for measurement of atmospheric NO, NO2, and total NOx. Beer-Lambert's law of UV absorption spectroscopy is based on the fact that when 405nm UV light passes through the NO2 gas sample chamber, it is absorbed by NO2, and the absorption value and NO2 concentration follow Beer-Lambert's law. The measured NO2 concentration is calculated and analyzed by measuring the changes in the UV signals before and after absorption, and comparing them with the reference light source;for NO measurement, the sample gas passes through the NO2 scrubber, and the sample gas is removed by the NO2 scrubber. When measuring NO, the sample gas passes through the NO2 scrubber, and the NO in the sample gas reacts with the ozone O3 in a highly efficient 100% reaction to produce O2 for measurement, and the NO concentration can be obtained by the difference between the concentration of NO2 before scrubbing and that after scrubbing:and the total NOX is the sum of NO and NO2.
