The specially designed aerosol generator and detector enable highly repeatable and reproducible filter media efficiency testing. In addition, the Model 8127 features a highly automated and self-diagnostic system that greatly streamlines operations, increases productivity, and improves overall measurement performance. As a result, the TSI Filter Media Tester is ideally suited for quality control testing.

The Model 8127 detects filter media with efficiencies as high as 99.999% (with penetration rates as low as 0.001%). A wide range of oils can be used as it does not use heat to generate oil mist aerosols. Operators are able to load and test more than five filters per minute.

TSI offers a variety of optional accessories to expand the performance and applicability of the Automated Media Tester 8127. These include customized media fixtures and external adapters for various types of media testing, as well as external control interfaces for automated tester operation.
