The Differential Mobility Analyzer 3085a is one of two Differential Mobility Analyzers (DMAs) that utilize TSI Series 3082 Electrostatic Classifiers. This instrument is a key component of our Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer? (SMPS) Model 3938.

The 3082 Series classifiers have the additional functionality of interchangeable DMAs. If your electrostatic classifier already has a long DMA, order model 3085a with a nano DMA to get the additional particle size capability.

Nano DMA was developed in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Particle Technology Laboratory and Gerhard Mercator University. Referenced by U.S. Patent No. 6230572.
