The DA-5C suspended particle generator is designed with excellent performance and operator convenience. It is an ideal tool for demonstrating or testing HEPA high efficiency filtration systems. It requires an airflow range of 500 to 65,000 cubic feet per minute, an inert gas source and a 120/240 volt, 750 watt power supply environment.
The TDA-5C features controls and display functions on the front panel. This is a large capacity aerosol generator that can operate for 4 hours without refilling. Its digital temperature control allows the operator to set the optimum environment for the specified aerosol.
TDA-5C can produce airborne particles with uniform size distribution. The principle is to add a certain amount of suspended particle source liquid in a large hot range. After the liquid is evaporated and recombined, it is sent out through a small amount of inert gas under only 5 pounds of pressure to form airborne particles with various diameters. The TDA can generate suspended particles. When used with a photometer such as the TDA-2G or TDA-2H, it can provide enough suspended particles to measure the filter system (flow range from 500-65,000 cubic feet per minute) or concentrations less than 100 micrograms per liter. The increased sensitivity of the photometer can also test for leaks.
