3.Product Description:

ATI makes portable Laskin nozzle spray-type aerosol generators capable of generating submicron particles of multiple diameters of oil mist suspensions in concentrations from 10 to 100 μg/liter when flow rates are between 50 and 8,100 cubic feet per minute (at 20 psi).
Suspended particle generators and photometers are used in high-efficiency air filtration systems for integrity testing or to locate sources of leakage. Filter manufacturers use this equipment to scan ULPA and HEPA (Ultra High Efficiency, High Performance) filters to validate their products. Filter certifiers use this equipment to confirm that filters have not been damaged in shipment and that they are installed correctly and without any leaks.
With the proper combination of suspended particle generators and photometers, filter deficiencies such as pinholes, thin spots, gasket leaks, structural leaks or sealing problems can be quickly and quantitatively corrected to protect product and personnel.
The TDA-4B and TDA-4B Lite feature improved functionality in several areas, such as rugged stainless steel construction, large filler ports, individual nozzle controls, and a standard 3" sanitary fitting output. An optional hose adapter, part number 9300100, is available for introducing suspended particles into a positive pressure system. The TDA-4B is ATI's most recently designed rugged, lightweight, compact, suspended particle generator. All that is required is a supply of clean compressed air to generate a wide range of submicron diameter suspended particles.
The TDA-4B has six nozzles and is capable of diluting 810 cubic feet of air per minute at 20 PSI, giving a gas concentration of about 100 micrograms per liter. Three valves allow the instrument to be operated with 1-6 nozzles, providing a wide range of airborne particle concentrations.
The TDA-4B is recommended for testing systems with flow rates of 8,100 cfm and below. It is ideal for leak testing in workstations, negative pressure filtration systems, biosafety cabinets, ceiling modules, small cleanrooms, or HEPA filter units.
