The six-nozzle atomizer 9306 is designed to produce polydisperse aerosols with high seed particle concentrations for PIV and LDV measurements. The system has a built-in pressure regulator and pressure gauge as well as acting as a stand-alone dilution system. External controls allow you to generate a choice of six particles via an atomized jet, each producing a particle concentration of greater than 107 particles per cubic centimeter at 6.5 liters per minute (nominally at a pressure of 25 psig), allowing for adjustments in particle number concentration and total particle output. The system can be used to produce particles from virtually any liquid and can even produce solid particles from solutions or suspensions. Precise control of the dilution air flow allows further control over the output concentration and the generation of solid particles from a solution that contributes to dryness.
