The PresSura Patient Room Pressure Controller RPC30 is designed to maintain a constant differential pressure in patient rooms. PresSura products utilize TSI's unique thermal sensors to provide the most accurate and consistent measurements available.
The PRC30 continuously measures room pressure to verify proper airflow and pressure direction in Air Infectious Isolation (AII), Protective Environment (PE), and Operating Rooms (ORs). Because conditions in a particular room may change, the RPC30 then controls a damper or valve to maintain a safe pressure differential. The RPC30 can also accept temperature and relative humidity inputs for complete room environment monitoring. PresSura products help hospitals ensure the safety of patients and staff.
The monitor provides an indication of room status, and if the pressure is too low, the RPC30 activates audible and visual alarms to warn staff of the unsafe condition. The RPC30 can receive signals for inflow and outflow volume flow, and warns if the ventilation rate is too low. The RPC30 features adjustable alarm delays to avoid a variety of nuisance alarms. When the isolation room is not occupied, it switches to non-isolation mode and de-activates all alarms.
