The TSI SureFlow? Model 8681 Adaptive Compensation Controller is the ideal digital controller for laboratories equipped with fume hoods.

The Model 8681 is a self-contained unit that ensures that the exhaust volume is always greater than the intake air volume for negative pressure controlled spaces and less than the intake air volume for positive pressure controlled spaces. The negative pressure balance helps ensure that chemical vapors do not spread outside the laboratory and meets the requirements of NFPA 45-2000 and ANSI Z9.5-2003 standards.

The SureFlow 8681 also controls the temperature of the laboratory space by adjusting the heating and air intake. Room pressure sensors can be connected to the 8681 controller as needed to correct for long-term changes in building dynamics.

The 8681 user provides closed-loop control of differential pressure using TSI's exclusive through-the-wall pressure transducer. The pressure sensor slowly restores the offset between supply and exhaust airflow.

Model 8681 is easy to integrate with building management systems using alarm relays or digital communications. model 8681 supports open MODBUS protocol.
