The SureFlow™ Model 8636 Room Pressure Controller is the ideal digital controller for laboratories equipped with fume hoods, specifically designed to measure the actual room pressure differential to prevent chemical vapors from escaping the laboratory. The controller regulates supply and total exhaust airflow to maintain laboratory ventilation and room pressure differentials in compliance with standards such as NFPA45-2000 and ANSI Z9.5-2003.

The Model 8636 is a stand-alone device that regulates supply and total exhaust dampers to ensure proper pressurization. It also maintains minimum ventilation intake (air changes per hour) and cooling intake and controls laboratory space temperature by regulating secondary heating and intake airflow.

The Model 8636 is easily integrated with a building management system using alarm relays or digital communications. The Model 8636 supports the open MODBUS protocol.
