The main components of dust particle counters are measurement chamber, light source, air pump filter, flow monitoring, light detector and necessary circuit system.
Several commonly used classification methods:
1. Classification by detection principle:light scattering detection (white light, laser), microscope detection, weighing detection, DMA detection (particle size analyzer), inertial detection, diffusion detection, condensation nucleus detection (CNC), etc.
2. Classification by flow rate:0.1cfm (2.83L/min), 1cfm (28.3L/min), 50L/min, 100L/min. The larger the flow rate, the more air data collected per minute, and the more it can represent the true cleanliness level of the clean room. Dust particle counters were originally produced according to foreign standards. Foreign production is 0.1 cubic feet/liter, which is 2.83L/min. Therefore, it is generally recommended to use a particle counter with a flow rate of 28.3L/min or above. (1 cubic foot = 28.3168 liters)
3. Classification by shape and size:portable, handheld, online.
4. Classification by the number of test channels:single channel (only one particle diameter is measured);dual channel (two particle diameters are tested);multi-channel (multiple particle diameters are tested).
5. Other classification methods:such as classification by the application field of laser dust particle counters.
What are the precautions for using a dust particle counter?
1. Before operating the dust particle counter, it should be self-cleaned as required
2. When the inlet pipe is covered or blocked, do not start the counter to avoid damage to the vacuum pump
3. When operating the dust particle counter, the surrounding environment should be kept clean to reduce damage to the laser sensor
4. In the absence of high-pressure decompression equipment (such as Hongrui Technology GK-01 high-pressure gas diffuser), do not sample compressed air. All particle counters should be operated under one atmospheric pressure
5. Avoid measuring mixed gases that may react (such as hydrogen and oxygen), which may explode in the counter (if measurement is required, please contact Hongrui Technology and use under guidance)
6. Water, solution or other liquids cannot enter the sensor from the inlet pipe
7. If an external printer or an external temperature and humidity sensor is required during the operation of the dust particle counter, the counter must be turned off first;when printing, there must be printing paper on the printer, otherwise the print head will be damaged
