The Coalescing Monodisperse Aerosol Generator 3475 (CMAG) produces highly concentrated, monodisperse aerosols. This coalescing aerosol generator can produce liquids, various greases, wax particles or solids, and other materials at concentrations greater than 106 particles/cm3. It produces monodisperse particles with particle sizes ranging from 0.1 to 8 μM and an operating flow rate of 4 liters per minute, and particles can be fluorescently or radiolabeled. The CMAG provides a fast response to changing aerosol particle size and it can work continuously for long periods of time.
