The Condensation Monodisperse Aerosol Generator 3475 (CMAG) produces high concentration, monodisperse aerosols. This condensation aerosol generator can produce liquids, various greases, wax particles or solids, and other materials at concentrations greater than 106 particles/cm3. It produces monodisperse particles with a particle size range from 0.1 to 8μM and an operating flow rate of 4 L/min. The particles can be fluorescently or radioactively labeled. The CMAG provides rapid response to changes in aerosol particle size and it can operate continuously for long periods of time.
