The dust particle counter mainly uses the principle of light scattering to detect filter leakage. When counting and measuring, the photomultiplier tube is used to receive the light reflected by the dust particles to determine their size and quantity, and analyze the accumulation and digital display. Before the experiment, the temperature is required to be controlled at 18-26℃;the relative humidity is controlled at 45-65%. There should be no more than 2 indoor testers. For rooms with different cleanliness levels in the room, the static pressure difference is ≥5Pa, and the static pressure difference between the clean area and the non-clean area is ≥10Pa;the room with large dust production in the process and other rooms should maintain a relative negative pressure.
CheckDust particle counter filter leakage process:
1. Wipe the dust particle counter with injection water and 75% alcohol for disinfection, and then irradiate it with ultraviolet light for 30 minutes and pass it into the clean area.
2. Place the dust particle counter horizontally on the table. Connect the measuring plastic tube port to the filter nozzle.
3. Turn on the power. After the instrument performs self-test and options, unplug the measuring plastic tube from the rear panel. Place the port at the position where it needs to be measured.
4. During the test, the sampling head is 2-4cm away from the filter, and it is slowly scanned along the inner frame and the middle of the filter. At least 5 points are tested for each filter, and the displayed data is observed.
After the test is completed, connect the sampling plastic tube port to the rear panel of the dust particle counter for self-test. Then turn off the power. Use the dust particle counter to measure the filter results of the Class 100 clean area. Through the above measurements, it can be seen whether the filter has leakage. Whether it is necessary to plug the leak or replace it, the filter must be retested after repair or replacement.
