The goal of the Sievers 500 RL in-line TOC analyzer is to bring science-based risk management capabilities to the production floor. Integrating the trusted Sievers laboratory TOC analysis methodology into an in-line analyzer provides the same high level of analytical power as a lab-based analyzer, with real-time monitoring without delays. As a result, the 500 RL supports pharmaceutical industry quality management practices such as Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Cleaning Validation (CV) on-line.

Easy to operate
The 500 RL joins other Sievers TOC analyzers in offering a number of efficient and easy-to-use features, including calibration stability over a 12-month period, a color touch screen, on-screen status indication of consumables, a USB port, and minimal maintenance (a few hours a year). With a wide measurement range from 0.03 ppb to 2500 ppb, the 500 RL can also determine USP <645> conductivity. Optional Sievers DataGuard 500 software facilitates compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.

Main Configurations
The 500 RL is available in three main configurations, related to the type of Integrated Online Sampling System (iOS) provided, and each configuration can be upgraded with individual options:

500 RL Basic
The new Super iOS (Integrated On-line Sampling System) is a revolutionary four-port system that fully automates system protocols for system suitability, validation and calibration, and transmits critical standards data directly to the analyzer for secure data management. This significantly reduces operator time, risk and cost. This super iOS can also measure individual standards or individual bottled water samples in the same way as the standard iOS.
Technologies
The 500 RL In-Line TOC Analyzer utilizes patented Sievers membrane conductivity technology, eliminating the "false positive" and "false negative" readings that can occur with other technologies. In addition, Sievers' technology ensures the accurate recovery of all types of organic compounds commonly found in ultrapure water (UPW).
