General Electric Group Analytical Instruments is a leading company in total organic carbon analyzers. The company's first TOC analyzer, the Model 800, was originally developed for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to monitor the drinking water of astronauts on the International Space Station. Introduced commercially, the Sievers Model 800 quickly gained critical acclaim for its superior accuracy and ease of use, becoming the best-selling TOC analyzer in the pharmaceutical industry and a leader in microelectronic applications. The next generation of the Sievers Model 800, the Sievers 900 Series, was launched in 2004. The Sievers 900 Series is available in three purpose-built models for increased automation and reliability.

Sievers Membrane Conductivity Test Methods - Unsurpassed TOC Detection:

The Sievers Membrane Conductivity Assay has been proven to be an excellent method for the determination of Total Organic Carbon (TOC). Organic Carbon (TOC). Unlike instruments using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) detection, the conductivity detection method demonstrates a dynamic range of six orders of magnitude, with extremely stable calibration performance that is not prone to significant fluctuations over time. This method reduces the frequency of calibration without compromising analytical performance. The patented membrane conductivity detection technology uses a gas permeable membrane that selectively transmits only the CO2 produced by the oxidation of organic matter. by preventing compounds such as acids, bases, and halogenated compounds from interfering with the determination of oxidized CO2, the membrane conductivity methodology achieves unparalleled sensitivity, selectivity, stability, accuracy, and precision.

Sievers Membrane Conductivity Test Method - Unsurpassed TOC Detection

The Sievers 900 Series of TOC analyzers is the next generation of the best-selling Sievers Model 800. Based on GE's patented, proven analytical technology, the 900 Series analyzers offer unsurpassed ease of use and analytical performance, versatility and reliability. Designed to meet a wide range of application needs and regulatory requirements, the 900 Series is available in three models - the 900 Laboratory, 900 On-Line, and 900 Portable.

Applications:

9Major applications for the Series 00 include pharmaceuticals, municipal water and analytical laboratories, microelectronics, power, and generally TOC detection.

Pharmaceutical:

The 900 Series is designed to meet the most stringent pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance in the environments specified by the FDA. All 900 Series analyzers meet the following regulations: United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) <643> Total Organic Carbon, European Pharmacopoeia (EP) 2.2.44 Total Organic Carbon, Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) 2.4.30, Chinese Pharmacopoeia (ChP) Appendix VIII R, and the Japanese Pharmacopoeia 16th Edition (JP 16) 2.59 monographs for Purified Water and Water for Injection. When applied to cleaning validation, the instrument's [Auto Reagent] function enables accurate analysis of samples of unknown composition and concentration.

Municipal water and analytical laboratories:

The 900 Series analyzers monitor TOC in raw and finished water to optimize flocculant dosage and report regulatory compliance. The analyzers use USEPA-approved methods, including the USEPA Disinfectants and Disinfection By-Products Regulations (D/DBP Regulations), Standard Method 5310 C, and USEPA 415.3.

Microelectronics:< ;br/>
The 900 Series analyzers determine TOC, IC & TC to help companies manage any aspect of their water purification system to ensure maximum uptime. The analyzers accurately measure system feed water, reverse osmosis (RO) water, and final product water.

Power:

Controlling organic and carbonic acid levels in power water is critical to minimize corrosion in power facilities and to keep water systems optimized. the unparalleled analytical range of the 900 Series analyzers enables the use of one sensitive analyzer for facility-wide TOC and CO2 determinations. the 900 Series is suitable for the detection of possible organic contamination in electro-thermal co-generation water. the 900 Series analyzers use ASTM approved methods including D 5904-96, 5997-96, 6317-98.

Common TOC determinations:

The 900 Laboratory and Portable Analyzer is ideally suited for analytical laboratories because of its wide measurement range, outstanding analytical performance and ease of use. Efficiently and accurately analyze water samples from a variety of applications with different sample matrices and concentrations.

Featured Advantages

& nbsp; Unmatched ease of use. 900 Series analyzers are easy to install, operate and maintain. Offering :

     1. Quick installation and operation. Pre-calibrated at the factory, the instrument can be installed and ready for analysis in less than 1 hour. No specialized training is required for instrument setup, operation and maintenance.
     2. Minimal Maintenance. The analyzer requires minimal manual labor and maintenance - typically just a few hours per year. The modular design allows for quick replacement of consumables.
     3. Fully contained sealed internal housing. With the internal reagent kit, the instrument is completely sealed in a sturdy dust and splash resistant enclosure. No external chemicals or gases are required.
     4. Intuitive Touch Screen Interface. Large, colorful display makes it easy to set instrument parameters, view data, and review data.
     5. Convenient data transfer. Data can be downloaded through the USB port, or standard serial port, parallel port and Ethernet (Ethernet) connection. Data can be opened directly in Microsoft Excel. In-line and portable models also support analog signal output for data transmission.
     6. Extended 12-month calibration stability. GE's patented Sievers Membrane Conductivity TOC detection technology is characterized by the creation of conductivity sensors that are not prone to drift and fluctuations. Outstanding calibration stability is achieved. Recommended calibration is done only once a year and is easily performed in the field. In contrast, TOC analyzers using NDIR detection methods often require weekly or even daily calibration.
    7. Reliability. GE Analytical Instruments has designed the 900 Series by a team of scientists and engineers using advanced materials and modular components to extend the operating life and make it easier to operate in the field. Higher reliability is achieved over the longest uptime. The CO2 selective permeation membrane dedicated to the detector does not need to be replaced for the entire life of the instrument!
     8. Excellent performance over a wide analytical range. 900 series has excellent accuracy and precision over a dynamic range of 0.03 ppb—50 ppm. From ultra-pure water to drinking water and industrial process water, the analyzers provide exceptional analytical performance for a wide variety of applications and water types.

Auto Sync with Cloud
The GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GNU GPU is a patented technology that automatically detects when a newborn baby is being born.
Automated operations include calibration, validation and data analysis reports, combined with a 4-minute analysis time, to achieve high measurement throughput. For diagnostics, the analyzer generates TOC data within minutes of connecting the sampling tube. [The [Autoreagent] function automatically sets the optimal flow rate for each sample, eliminating the need for user intervention and data interpretation to select the appropriate flow rate.
     10. On-line and Aspiration Samples. In both linear and portable analyzers, the patented Integrated Online Sampling System (iOS) simplifies the inhalation of external standards and samples. The operator does not need to remove the instrument from the continuous sample source or change the configuration of the sample feed. iOS even includes an aspiration function for sampling TOC samples from other locations in the water system.

Sievers certified standard materials include a variety of open-ready TOC standards for calibration, linearity and USP/ChP system suitability.Sievers standards are used on the Sievers standards are used on the 900 Series analyzers, as well as most other brands of TOC analyzers, and GE's large-scale manufacturing capabilities provide significant cost savings over user-developed standards. Based on GE's expertise in the preparation and preservation of standards, Sievers standards are guaranteed to be accurate and have a long shelf life, even at very low concentrations.
