Whether it is drinking water or ultrapure water, the Sievers M9 in-line TOC analyzer provides continuous monitoring.
The M9 In-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer uses UV/Persulfate oxidation and Sievers' proprietary thin film conductivity detection technology for continuous monitoring of water samples ranging from ultrapure to source water, with excellent precision and accuracy, and a dynamic detection range of 0.03 ppb to 50 ppm. The M9 series of TOC analyzers take a reading in less than two minutes, which is twice as fast as the previous 900 series, doubling the speed of detection. And for reuse water applications, the Sievers M9 is available in a Turbo model in-line, offering efficient performance with readings every 4 seconds.
In addition to the continuous TOC analysis mode, the M9 in-line model is also capable of independently aspirating samples as well as standards solutions by using the specially designed Sievers Integrated In-line Sampling System (IOS System?).

With a detection limit of 0.03 ppb, the M9 in-line analyzer excels in demanding ultrapure water applications. Precision and accuracy are also excellent for applications with TOC concentrations up to 50ppm.
On-line sampling and aspiration
With Sievers' Integrated On-line Sampling System (IOS System?), the M9 analyzer can aspirate external standards and samples without disconnecting the instrument from the continuous sample flow or changing the feed settings. This special feature allows the user to easily add calibration, validation or system suitability standards. It is also suitable for adding TOC samples from other points in the water system to the instrument for sample sampling and analysis.
Data Communication
The M9 On-Line TOC Analyzer utilizes industry standard 4-20mA analog signals (3), binary alarms (4), and the Modbus TOC/IP communication protocol. The M9 is also equipped with a USB port for easy data download to a USB memory stick.

Options and Accessories

Inorganic Carbon Remover (ICR) - The optional ICR can be integrated into the M9 instrument to reduce the level of inorganic carbon in the sample stream for applications with high IC/TOC ratios, providing more accurate TOC results.
Turbo Mode - An optional accessory for the M9 on-line analyzer, widely used in reclaimed water applications where rapid process control is required, with an extended detection range of 0.20-10,000 ppb, the Turbo function updates TOC, IC and TC measurements every 4 seconds ensuring that even the most ephemeral organic contamination is detected in a timely manner.
